At Arcd you are charged for what you use each month. So you are free to exceed your basic storage allowance at any time. No problem!

If you decide Arcd isn’t for you we just need 30 days notice from your next billing date.

Your subscription will be cancelled and we’ll wave you a tearful goodbye. After this your data is deleted in a non-recoverable way, so your data and IP are not compromised.

To ensure this we built the platform on global cloud leaders allowing us to apply security controls at every layer and with the ability to rapidly deploy security updates without customer interaction or service interruption if used in a cyber-secure manner.
We have a 4 day continuous backup on the database, which means we can restore to any point in time in the last 4 days should we discover something has gone wrong.
And our cloud storage facility guarantees 99.999999999% durability.

All users of arcd are required to use Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) to log into their account.
2FA (also known as 2-Step verification) is an additional layer of security used to ensure only authenticated users gain access to an online account.
You still use your username and a password, however, instead of gaining access straight away, you will be required to provide additional information from an Authenicator App.
To start using an Authenticator App, you need to install it on your mobile phone. If you do not have it already, you can download the Authenticator App, for example Microsoft Authenticator or Google Authenticator, from your app store.

6k is fine, ProRes is recommended (for the geeks 444, 422, 422LT are all good), H264 MP4 is good, XMF works great - you can take it straight out of the camera and upload straight to Arcd if you want to - handy for getting rushes to where you need them to be!

Arcd automatically generates a 1080p mp4 - for master files you can also download 4k, 1080, 720 and 360 mp4 versions, and also a clean master (assuming you’ve uploaded one!)

If you have a multiple space account via our Collective subscription, then you’ll have multiple spaces. Each is separate, so if for example you have two clients, each with their own space, then these will contain different assets, and will have a different set of keywords, and most importantly users of one space will not have any access at all to the other space, so you’re keeping your eggs in separate baskets.

The cool bit is that you can share these with people in your team, invite them to collaborate on that board (and un-invite them!) and also share with people outside of your team and Arcd - and if you are sharing externally you can decide if they can download your assets or just view them.
